I have personally been with them for about 9 months as of December, 2013 and I would highly recommend to invest or work for the company. Based on the companies financials, they have had a significant increase in net sales and growth from 2012 to 2013 by 13.3%. With the introduction of the FAST solutions, or their integrated vending solutions, they are able to supply products to consumers, without actually having products on hand. By vending out products when needed, this eliminates wasted inventory, cost, as well as having the satisfaction of knowing the products you need will be available. This has given Fastenal the winning edge over their competitors over the past 3 years, because along with their other product lines, they are able to efficiently and effectively supply manufacturing companies with the products when they need them. It is very beneficial for Fastenal to offer these services and a wide variety of products because this allows us to have a leg up over our competition.
